San Francisco is well known for their unique public transportation system of trolley coaches and trains. However, with a growing population, as well as being an epicenter for tourism and business, the demand for public transportation outgrew its current capabilities. The Third Street Light Rail Project expands hte current BART train to increase the scope of transportation coverage in the city.
