Project overview
Structural monitoring during orthotropic deck replacement and foundation reinforcement.
A multi-contract structural overhaul managed by MTA Bridges and Tunnels to extend the service life of the historic suspension bridge. The project scope features replacing the suspended span deck with a lightweight orthotropic steel deck, reinforcing anchorage and pier foundations, installing aerodynamic fairings, and modernizing approach roadway bridges.
