Instrumentation for Grand Central Madison and the LIRR tunnels beneath the East River and Midtown.
East Side Access is a major capital transportation megaproject executed by MTA Construction & Development and Long Island Rail Road to expand regional rail capacity. The initiative encompassed the construction of a 350,000-square-foot subterranean concourse beneath Grand Central Terminal, Grand Central Madison, and miles of soft-ground and hard-rock bored tunnels beneath the East River and Midtown Manhattan to establish direct commuter rail service from Long Island to Manhattan's East Side.
