The Second Avenue Subway expansion is a multi-phase heavy civil infrastructure project managed by MTA Construction & Development to enhance regional transit capacity and alleviate severe congestion along the Lexington Avenue subway line. The project scope encompasses extensive deep-rock tunneling, slurry wall installation, utility relocation, and the construction of modern subterranean station boxes across Upper Manhattan from 63rd Street through East Harlem.
