Piezometers, inclinometers and extensometers tracking consolidation beneath the offshore-wind marshalling port.
NJEDA’s major offshore-wind marshalling terminal includes heavy-load upland laydown areas, delivery and installation berths, wharf infrastructure, dredged vessel access, and staged surcharge-and-wick-drain ground improvement. Wang Technology provided geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring during preloading and consolidation, deploying VW piezometer clusters, inclinometers, settlement plates, and magnetic extensometers to track pore-pressure dissipation, lateral movement, and surface and subsurface settlement. The program supported consolidation verification and risk-managed development of heavy-lift turbine-component staging and loadout areas.
