Penn Station Access is a transformative regional transit project managed by MTA Construction & Development to extend Metro-North Railroad service directly into New York Penn Station via Amtrak’s Hell Gate Line. The scope of work includes the construction of four new ADA-accessible regional rail stations in the East Bronx, miles of track and signaling infrastructure upgrades, and major structural bridge rehabilitations along active passenger and freight rail rights-of-way.
