Tunnel and station-box monitoring for 1.7 miles of new light rail beneath downtown San Francisco.
The SF Central Subway Project is a major urban light rail expansion managed by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). Extending the T Third Street line through San Francisco's high-density urban core, the project constructed 1.7 miles of new underground track, earth-pressure balance TBM tunnels, and deep-cast station boxes to directly link SoMa, Union Square, and Chinatown to the regional transit network.
